The South African young batter Tristan Stubbs, who is playing for Manchester Originals in The Hundred 2022, smoked his teammate Tabraiz Shamsi of Trent Rockets for four successive sixes before getting out on the fifth ball on Saturday. Turning up for Manchester Originals, Stubs scored a quick fire cameo of 27 runs in just 10 deliveries to help his team post 189 on board off the allotted 100 balls.

The 11th match of 'The Hundred' between Manchester Originals and Trent Rockets that took place at the Old Trafford was won by the Trent Rockets as they successfully got to the target of 190 runs with eight wickets in hand. England batter, Dawid Malan smashed an unbeaten 98 runs off just  44 balls to help Trent Rockets win the match.

Batting first, Manchester Originals scored 189 runs with a loss of 3 wickets. England Opener Phil Salt scored unbeaten 70 runs off 46 balls. Trent Rockets easily chased the target with eight wickets in the hut and six balls left in the innings.

The Match was played at Old Trafford in Manchester and was a high scoring game which was a treat to watch for the cricket loving public in England. The Manchester Originals got 189 runs on the scorecard for the loss of 3 wickets and were helped with big contributions from Jos Butler and Tristian and Phil Salt. Jos Butler made a cracking 41 off just 25 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes.

Phil Salt made a wonderful 70, which consisted of 6 boundaries and 2 sixes. For Trent Rockets it was easy going as Alex Hales, Kohler Cadmore and Ian Cockbain made vital contributions of 38 , 30 and 20 respectively with David Malan leading the way with a destructive 98 off only 44 balls, which contained 3 fours and 9 maximums.
