After losing to India in the T20I series, Australia clean-swept West Indies 2-0 in the just-concluded T20I series at home. Australia sealed the series after beating West Indies by 31 runs in the second match on Friday. Aaron Finch and Co. notched a 178-run total at the end of the first innings.
The Aussies lost Cameron Green early but Aaron Finch and David Warner steadied the ship with an 85-run partnership. Finch got out in the 11th over and it induced a minor collapse. From 95-2, Australia slipped to 100 for 4 in the space of less than 12 balls.
Tim David then decided to take the matter into his hands as he played a game-changing knock of 42 runs in just 20 balls, including 4 fours and 3 sixes. During that knock, what caught everyone's attention was his gigantic 110-metre six.
He tore apart Obed McCoy with brutal hitting in the 17th over. The batsman plundered 20 runs from the first four deliveries of the over but also got out on the fifth ball. In the third ball of that over, he hit a monstrous six of 110 metres. David picked the slower one to perfection and launched it over mid-wicket for a monstrous six.

“It’s gone, big one, the upper decker from Tim David and it bounces back. That’s like a baseball shot” commentators said on air.
Australia will now play a three-match T20I series and as many ODIs against England before they brace themselves for the highly anticipated 20-20 World Cup 2022.
