World Wrestling Entertainment was in India for the show called ‘’WWE Super Star Spectacle”. The show was held in Hyderabad on 8th September in front of a passionate crowd. The top draw of the show and the main event was none other than 16-time world champion John Cena.
The 46-year-old was in India after 18 long years and this was the first and only time Cena had wrestled. The two-hour-long show saw some amazing action as the biggest names of the pro wrestling industry entertained the Indian crowd. The fans came unglued when John Cena came out and electrified the crowd during the main event of the show.
Great Khali turns Hindi tutor for John Cena
John Cena was seen spending time with WWE Hall of Famer and Indian legend The Great Khali. The two had spent a lot of time with each other during their runs as active performers in WWE. The Great Khali was seen teaching Hindi to John Cena in a video that has now become a viral sensation. The setting was backstage during the show as the crowd can be heard making a lot of noise. Khali could be heard tutoring John Cena and saying “Chak De Pattey, Nap de Gilli, Shaam ko Bombay Subah ko Dilli”

The two-hour show kicked off with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn taking on the team of Indus Sher. The match saw an early disqualification as Jinder Mahal interfered before Drew McIntyre came in for the assist. It was soon a six-man tag match which saw McIntyre wear the Indian cricket jersey. Zayn, Owens, and McIntyre won the match thanks to Matt Riddle as all the members had a fun time in the ring.
Natalya pulled double duty as she first beat Zoey Stark in a contest. Rhea Ripley then beat the Canadian Natalya to retain her title. The other contest saw GUNTHER beat Shanky in a squash match. NXT star Bron Brekker beat Odyssey Jones in a singles contest.
The main event of the day was John Cena and Seth Rollins teaming up against Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci. The team of Cena and Rollins prevailed over their opponents. The crowd went home happy as John Cena hit his finishing move took the pin and won the match. John Cena then took the microphone and cut an impassioned promo to thank the Indian fans as the show came to a close.
