In what was a fruitful last dance for Lionel Messi on Sunday at the FIFA World Cup 2022 final. He won a World Cup Trophy in what was speculated as his last international outing. Messi, though, has now claimed that he will continue playing for his national team.
Argentina defeated France 4-2 on penalties on Sunday at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar. After 120 minutes of intense football from both teams, the scores were tied at 3-3. Messi was at his best on the day of the final and scored a brace. He picked up the Golden ball, which is given to the best player of the World Cup.
The Indian Cricket Team, meanwhile, is currently playing a Test match series in Bangladesh. They enjoyed a special screening of the World Cup final between France and Argentina on Sunday. KL Rahul had, earlier, said that there will be a divided house in terms of which team, team India will support and that the team is going to enjoy the World Cup final after a hard-fought Test win against Bangladesh.

Earlier, in the day, India defeated Bangladesh by 188 runs in the first Test to take a 1-0 lead. This was the first win outside India for the cricket Team in 2022. India did not start the Test on a good note at 48-3 but recovered well with valuable contributions from Rishabh Pant, Cheteshwar Pujara, Kuldeep Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin to end on 404 in the first innings.
Then Kuldeep stepped up with the ball and took a five-wicket haul to bundle out Bangladesh for just 150 in the first innings. In the second innings, India, with a lead of 254 runs in hand, declared at 258-2. Shubman Gill scored his maiden Test century, amassing 110 of 152 balls with 10 fours and three sixes.
Then the bowling unit stepped up to counter a good fightback from Bangladesh in the fourth innings and got them out for 324 runs. Zakir Hasan slammed his maiden Test Hundred for Bangladesh in his first Test and there were good contributions from Najmul Hossian Shanto, who scored 67 off 156 balls with seven fours and Shakib-Al- Hasan, who scored 84 off 108 with six fours and six sixes. India wrapped the game up inside the first session of the final day of the Test match.
