It is no secret that fielding standards in the Big Bash League are some of the very best in the world. It is often that a catch of fielding takes over the internet and goes viral every few games.
Something exactly like this took place when Sydney Sixers clashed against Sydney Thunders. This particular instance is about a Ben Cutting catch that is going viral on the internet.
The incident took place when James Vince tried to slice an average delivery by Brendon Doggett for a six. Standing at the off-side boundary line, Cutting made an inch-perfect jump and latched onto the ball that was flying for a six on the 2nd delivery of the second over in the second innings.

The catch was able to provide back-to-back wickets to Thunders as both openers Josh Philippe (6) and Vince (5) got out in quick succession.
As for the match, however, it still went in Sixers favour as they got to the 134-run target in just 16.2 overs. Captain Moises Henriques brought out a match-winning half-century and played a knock of 53 off 38 balls. He was supported by Jordan Silk who smashed an unbeaten 59 off 42.
Earlier, Thunders had posted a score of 133 on the board at the loss of 8 wickets. Sam Whiteman was the top scorer for the team as he scored 42 off 34 balls with Alex Ross playing a significant knock of 34 as well.
Cutting also played a good cameo of 26 off 15 in the late stages of the first innings. Despite all that however Thunders could only get 133 and lost the match by a huge 7 wickets. With this loss, Sixers have moved to the top of the table while Thunders remain 4th.
