Sanju Samson misses out on the India squad
Despite putting on a tremendous performance for India in the Zimbabwe series, the youngster is still out of the India squad. However, the Indian star is captaining the India 'A' side against New Zealand 'A' and is faring out well for the team. It has also been reported that Sanju Samson might make a comeback in the ODI squad against South Africa.
Earlier, Sanju Samson opined on the flexibility in the batting order and said that the batter was ready to play in any batting position. "Playing different roles is something I have worked on for a lot of years. I am confident of batting anywhere in the order. You should not fix a spot for yourself. You cannot tell people: 'I am an opener or I am a finisher'. In the last three-four years, playing in various roles and spots (in order) has added a new dimension to my game," he said.
"They (India A games) are really important. There is not much difference between an A game and international game. The competition is almost the same. So, it is important to make use of the opportunities," Sanju Samson concluded.
