Star England pacer Stuart Broad announced his retirement from International cricket on Saturday. After stumps on Day 3, Broad interacted with the media and announced his retirement. His last international match will be the ongoing fifth Test between England and Australia at The Oval in London.
Meanwhile, on Day 4, Broad and James Anderson came to bat for England in the second inning. While he walked into the field, Broad received a badge of honour from Australian players. Amid a massive round of applause from the crowd, Broad made his way to the middle. He didn't disappoint his fans and hit a massive six off Mitchell Starc before England's innings wrapped up.

England in the second inning of the game scored 395/10, leaving 384 as the target for spectators. Zak Crawley, Joe Root, and Jonny Bairstow scored half-centuries and helped England post a massive total in the second inning. Crawley scored 73 runs off 76 balls, Root scored 91 off 106 balls, and Bairstow scored 78 runs off 103 balls. They posted a massive total in the second inning as they were looking to win the game.
Australia embarks on a massive challenge
Chasing a massive total Australia got off to a brilliant start as the opener added 75 runs for the first wicket. Until lunch, both David Warner and Usman Khawaja went unbeaten. Warner, in his innings, scored an unbeaten 30 runs off 61 balls, while Khawaja scored 39 runs off 79 balls. Australia will want them to bat as long as possible to win the game.
Notably, if Australia wins this game, it will be their first-ever Test series victory on English soil since 2001. In this ongoing series, the Aussies are leading the series 2-1. On the other hand, England will be keen to win this game and draw the series. It will be one of the biggest achievements for the Bazball considering their losses in the first two games.
