Fans of cricket love to watch the sport in the stadium. They always try to make their experience special, but some go further to make their experience the most memorable. Many a times, spectators chose to propose their better half at the stadium in front of the entire world. The same happened at the Sydney Cricket Ground during India's game against the Netherlands in the 20-20 World Cup 2022.

During the second innings, an Indian fan got down on his knees and proposed to his girlfriend. The very emotional girlfriend wasted no time answering yes to the proposal. The two also posed for the camera in the stands. Meanwhile, the video of the proposal has gone viral over the internet.

As for the game, India won the toss and decided to bat first at the SCG. KL Rahul's batting woes persisted as he struggled to get going against a mediocre bowling attack. He was caught LBW by Paul van Meekeren's inswinging delivery.

On the other hand, Rohit Sharam, the team captain and Rahul's opening partner, struggled throughout his innings but still managed a half-century. He hit four boundaries and three hits over the boundary rope to score 53 runs in 39 balls. Fred Klaassen dismissed him in the 12th over for a team score of 84.

Suryakumar Yadav then joined Virat Kohli in the centre, and the two set fire to the stage. The former Indian captain built on his previous performance by scoring another half-century in the tournament. Yadav also put on a fantastic performance to help India reach a good total.

The latter hit a six on the final ball of the innings, assisting India to a 179-runs and completing his half-century. Both players finished unbeaten with 62 in 44 balls and 51 in 25 balls, respectively. Having taken six wickets in the second innings already by 16 overs for a score of 87 runs, India is on track to win their second game of the tournament.
