Shubman Gill is proving to be a great player for team India in the ODI format and the youngster managed to hit the headlines yet again. However, this time, it was not for cricket as he was spotted travelling together with Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan.
This was not the first time that the duo was spotted together as photos of Gill and Sara having dinner together went viral earlier in August. However, it looks like the duo has started to spend more time together and the alleged affair between the two might turn out to be true.
In the video surfacing on the internet, Sara can be seen leaving a hotel alongside Gill. Later, she is again spotted taking a selfie on a flight with the attendant and her seat next to someone whom fans speculate to be the Indian cricketer.

The Gill - Sara Tendulkar saga
However, before this, there was an alleged relationship between the right-hand batter and Sara Tendulkar, daughter of Indian great Sachin Tendulkar. The duo often came up with posts on Instagram with similar captions and fans predicted that the two might be dating. Post that, rumours emerged claiming that the duo parted ways and moved on from the affair that neither of the two admitted in public.
With regard to Gill, the player has been exceptional in the one-day format so far and won the Player of the Series award when India toured West Indies in July. In August, the youngster bagged his first-ever international hundred against Zimbabwe and won the Player of the Series award yet again.
The 23-year-old, however, is yet to make an impact in T20Is and is not a part of the Indian squad for the upcoming 20-20 World Cup. Gill has compiled 530 runs in 9 ODIs played this year averaging around 75 with the highest score being 130.
With his form, he would hope to continue making an impact for team India and seal his place in the squad for the 50-over World Cup in 2023. As it stands, the Men in Blue are in Australia to take part in the 20-20 World Cup and will open their campaign against Pakistan on October 23.
