“When we won the World Cup in 2009, Younis Khan called me and said ‘you hold the trophy’. And that was very special,” the veteran middle-order batter said in an interaction on A Sports.

Meanwhile, Pakistan will be playing the final of the 20-20 World Cup 2022 on Sunday at Melbourne Cricket Ground. The Men in Green are coming into this encounter on the back of a 7-wicket win over New Zealand in the semi-final match.
New Zealand were restricted to 152 runs in the first innings, thanks to an impressive bowling display from the fast bowlers. Pakistan, later chased down the score comfortably in 19.1 overs. Babar Azam and M Rizwan both scored respective half-centuries to guide the team to a seven-wicket win.
Babar Azam and Men have a great chance to earn their second 20-20 World Cup title. But, they will be facing a stern challenge in the form of England, who are coming on the back of an outstanding 10-wicket win over India.
Jos Buttler and Alex Hales stitched a record 170-run partnership to guide the team in the final. England would be pretty confident of winning the final as well and, thereby, lifting the title.
However, former Pakistan cricketer, Shoaib Akhtar feels that it isn't going to easy for England to win against a formidable Pakistan's fast bowling unit.
“Farak ye padega ki England ek comprehensive position me hai. England ka confidence sky-rocketing hoga. England ko pata hai ki yahan par Pakistan bowlers India bowling ki tarah nahi hai. Yahan kuch na kuch karke jeetna apdega. Itni aasani se walkover nahi milega." Akhtar said in a video on his Youtube channel.
