The Pakistani cricket team on Tuesday lost their second warm-up match against Australia in Hyderabad. In their first encounter, Babar Azam saw his side lose to New Zealand at the same venue. Shikhar Dhawan though found some humor during the course of the game as he trolled Pakistan on Twitter.
With two back-to-back losses, Pakistan’s preparation for the 2023 ODI World Cup has been far from ideal. Babar Azam will be left worried about the bowling unit in particular failing to fire. Apart from Shaheen Shah Afridi and Hasan Ali, none of the bowlers could stop the rampaging Australian batting lineup.
Two games in succession, Pakistani bowlers have conceded over 325 runs with the 2023 ODI World Cup near. The Netherlands team will be watching closely as they take on Pakistan on the 6th of October in Hyderabad.
Shikhar Dhawan takes to Twitter to troll Pakistani fielding
Pakistani Cricket Team can create some hilarious moments especially when they are fielding. Mohammad Wasim Jr. and Mohammad Nawaz nearly collided with each other while trying to stop the ball. What’s more, the ball eluded both the players and hit the boundary ropes.
This hilarious fielding left Shikhar Dhawan in splits as the 37-year-old took to Twitter. The left-handed batter wrote “Pakistan and fielding never-ending love story”. The tweet went viral in a short space of time as many fans joined in the banter.

Babar Azam scored 90 runs before retiring against Australia while chasing 352 for a win. The 1992 World Cup winners more than made a match out of it while chasing such a steep target. Australia though kept chipping in with wickets at regular intervals to win the game.
The loss of Naseem Shah is really hurting the Pakistani team ahead of the 2023 ODI World Cup. The right-arm pacer had injured himself during the 2023 Asia Cup game versus India. This injury meant that Naseem Shah was ruled out for an extended period of time and missed the World Cup.
Haris Rauf picked up just one wicket as he was hit for 97 runs. The 29-year-old fast bowler was taken to the cleaners by Cameron Green towards the end of the innings. One hopes not only the bowling but also the Pakistani fielding can pick up. With the 2023 ODI World Cup 24 hours away such lapses can come back to haunt Babar Azam and his men.
