Veteran India opener Shikhar Dhawan is a fun-loving man who has shown his love for music and dance on several occasions. Apart from his batting prowess, we have seen his talent in playing the flute and dancing through several videos he posts on social media. The southpaw recently took to Instagram to share another video in which he grooves to the song 'Naa Ready' from one of the most anticipated movies of the year, 'Leo'.
The upbeat song, composed by Anirudh Ravichander for a Lokesh Kanagaraj film, was released a month ago on Sony India South's YouTube channel. The first single of 'Leo' is still trending on multiple platforms, with many celebrities and people across the country shaking their legs to the beat.
Dhawan is the latest to join the 'Na Ready' craze and he has impressed the fans yet again with some incredible moves. On Sunday (July 23), the 36-year-old shared the dance video with the caption: "‘Naa Ready Dha Varava’ got me hooked". The video is now doing the rounds on social media with many fans praising the cricketer's skills.

Reactions included a humoruous comment from his teammate Yuzvendra Chahal. The right-arm spinner, who shares funny dance reels on social media, celebrated his 33rd birthday on the day Dhawan posted the video and received it as a birthday present. "What a birthday gift shikhi bhaiya @shikhardofficial big chumma issi baat par" (Big kiss for this video). In reply, Dhawan wrote, “Tere liye jaan bhi haazir hain bhai" (Anything for you, my brother).
Will we see Dhawan again in the Indian jersey?
Dhawan has been India's primary opener in all formats of the game for many years. However, his opportunities were limited in the ODI format and now that too seems to be over as the Indian selectors are constantly ignoring him in favour of youngsters. He has not been picked for the West Indies tour and was expected to be leading India in the Asian Games 2022 in Hangzhou, China.
Ruturaj Gaikwad was picked as the captain of the young Indian team and the senior batter did not find a place. Meanwhile, there are rumors that Dhawan will be in the Indian squad for the 2023 ODI World Cup in India later this year. However, the chances are very slim of Dhawan getting into the mix considering the ongoing selection trend.
