Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) registered their first win in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) on Thursday as they defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 81 runs. RCB fans had to bow their heads after the humiliating defeat, but they had a memorable moment after the match when the 'King of Bollywood' Shah Rukh Khan met the 'King of Cricket' Virat Kohli at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Shah Rukh shared a sweet moment with King Kohli, and the images and videos quickly went viral on social media, with fans expressing their admiration for the two superstars.
After KKR registered a massive win against RCB in the 9th match of the tournament, the co-owner of Kolkata-based franchise 'SRK' entered the ground to have a chat with all the players. A video of the actor getting excited after seeing Kohli and approaching him to give him a tight hug is currently making the rounds on Twitter.
The two were seen smiling and having fun as they shared the screen, and the 'Pathan' actor was spotted teaching the cricketer the famous hook-step from the blockbuster song "Jhoome Jo Pathaan".

Shardul Thakur powers KKR to massive win over RCB
After losing to Punjab Kings by 7 runs in a rain-interrupted game, KKR entered the winning path by thrashing RCB and jumped to the third position in the points table. Having been asked to bat first, KKR were once at 89/5 as their top-order batters, except Rahmanullah Gurbaz (57 off 44), could not find resistance at the crease.
Their power hitter Andre Russel also failed for a golden duck, and just when it appeared that the hosts would end their innings with a below-par total, all-rounder Shardul Thakur played a brilliant innings to lead his team to a massive 204 score. The right-hander smashed 68 runs off 29 balls with 9 fours and 3 sixes. Rinku Singh who scored 46 runs off 33 balls also contributed well.
In reply, RCB got off to a decent start as Kohli and captain Faf du Plessis kept the run rate under control. However, the former Bangalore skipper was dismissed by mystery spinner Sunil Narine in the fifth over and the current skipper also returned to the pavilion in the very next over. After that, none of the batters could play a responsible innings, and they were bowled out for 123 in 17.4 overs.
