India will face Bangladesh in their next tour which will be a short one, which will commence on December 4, Sunday. India last went there in 2015. The ODIs will be played first before the Test matches. The three ODIs will take place on December 4, 7 and 10 respectively. The two Tests will be played later on December 14 and December 22.

India will be looking to start on a new leaf in ODIs. For the ODIs, India will have a full-strength squad at their disposal. On the other hand, Bangladesh will be trying to trump India in both the ODIs as well as the Test matches. Notably, Bangladesh have not beaten India in a Test match and have just beaten India in five ODIs.

While the Indian squad left for Bangladesh on Wednesday, Rohit Sharma departed on Thursday to get to Bangladesh. The Indian captain was seen having a funny interaction with the paparazzi who couldn't contain themselves and clicked photos of the ace India cricketer without a pause. To which he had a hilarious reply

"Kya karte ho tum log aisa photo lekar," He said, to which the paparazzi answered, "sir ye hamari duty hai."

India will look to grab some points against Bangladesh

The ODIs and Tests will be telecasted on the Sony Sports Network on TV and when it comes to streaming, the matches can be streamed on the Sony LIV app. This will be a crucial series for India in the build-up to the 2023 ODI World Cup. They will look to get into some rhythm after losing the ODI series to New Zealand 1-0. They will look to exploit conditions which are similar to home.

India will look to get some vital points in the Test Series as well so that they can consolidate their position on the points table in the World Test Championship. At the moment, India are fourth on the points table in the WTC. They will want to win both Tests by big margins which will give India a chance to play the WTC final and then help them get what will be their maiden WTC Title.
