Rohit Sharma-led India brushed aside by Australia in Vizag

Meanwhile, the World Number One ODI side didn't have a playful game in Vizag. In fact, it was a horrific and forgettable game of cricket for the team. Bowling first, Australia bowled out India for 117 runs. Mitchell Starc took his ninth five-wicket haul while Sean Abbott and Nathan Ellis took three and two wickets respectively.

In reply, the visitors chased down the target in just 11 overs without losing a single wicket. After the game, Sharma expressed his disappointment and also praised Starc's bowling.

"It is disappointing. No doubt about that. We didn't play to our potential. Didn't apply ourselves with the bat. We always knew that was not enough runs. It was not a 117 pitch at all. By no means. We just didn't apply ourselves. is a quality bowler. He's been doing it for years for Australia with the new ball. He kept bowling to his strength and we kept falling to his strength. That's something that we need to understand and play accordingly. All their bowlers bowled really well and put us under pressure."
