Rishabh Pant has been hard at work to make a comeback to international cricket. At present a viral video of Pant exercising on an exercise bike. In the video Pant can be seen doing it slowly to start off. As some time goes by, Pant gets the intensity higher and keeps increasing the rapidity of the exercise. A heartwarming video like this proves that he is on the right track.
It is a good sign for Indian Cricket as well. Pant's best format as a player has been in Test match cricket. The wicketkeeper batter has scored 2271 runs in 33 matches at an average of 43.67 and at a strike rate of 73.63. He has scored five hundreds and eleven fifties in the white flannels for India. Pant suffered a near-fatal accident when he was travelling from Delhi to Roorkee.

It was earlier reported the Rishabh Pant would make a comeback for the England Test series
When the incident happened, Pant suffered multiple injuries and had to undergo surgery. Pant under the care and assistance of the doctors was able to get back on his feet and also took to Instagram to thank them for giving him what he called a second birth. Due to his injuries, Pant has been away from cricket for a long span of time.
The left-hander missed the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and also a World Test Championship (WTC) final. This happened against Australia at the Oval. Pant has been an integral part of the Indian side in all three formats. Though he has shinned in Test and ODI cricket, he has not been able to get a good consistency level in T20I cricket.
There were reports that Pant would make a comeback for the upcoming England series that will be played in India. Only time will tell whether he is able to make a comeback at the earliest. When it comes to team India, they will play the Asia Cup which will be co-hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The tournament commences on August 30 and will go on till September 17.
