Rishabh Pant has often been in the headlines ever since he made his Test Debut. In his first Test against England at Nottingham, the Southpaw smashed his second ball of his Test career away into the stands for a six. Since then, Pant has played many remarkable knocks for team India in Test cricket.
In the warm-up game before the rescheduled fifth Test, Pant was on full swing as he scored 76 off 87 balls smashing 14 fours and a six. Pant brought up his half century in grand fashion as he scooped a boundary behind the wicket off Umesh Yadav.
Among the many moments that made headlines on the Day 2 of the Test Match, there was one moment that was particularly loved by the crowd. Pant, who was batting well on 76, tried to slog sweep Jadeja for a six but could only manage to find the fielder at long-on.
Jadeja was elated to get his team-mate’s wicket and gave him a warm-hug as he made his way back to the pavilion.
Here's a video of the incident.
