Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 sensation Saim Ayub has started his journey in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) in incredible fashion. Saim is playing his first season in the CPL for Guyana Amazon Warriors. In a washed-out game of CPL 2023, two Pakistani youngsters, Azam Khan and the left-handed batter, showed high dominance batting when the game was reduced to five overs. Guyana posted 56/2 in five overs, but the match was called off in the second innings due to rain.
At the start of the play, the rain had already abandoned one of the double-header clashes between Trinbago Knight Riders and the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots. In the third game of CPL 2023, Evin Lewis-led Patriots won the toss and opted to field first. The Riders' innings were halted at 19/1 in three overs when rain struck down, and the game was called off after a five-overs-per-side match was scheduled.
Both games on third day of CPL 3 had no result due to heavy rain
Whereas in the second game of the Day on August 19, Faf du Plessis-led side won the toss and asked Guyana to bat first in a five overs game scheduled game after rain affected the start of the play. The Imran Tahir-led side in their squad has two Pakistani youngsters, Azam and Saim in their lineup for this cash-rich West Indies league. While the highest-paid Pakistani cricketer in the league is Azam, he has struck a lucrative deal worth $120,000.
