Pakistan reached the final of the 20-20 World Cup 2021 last year and would be keen to lift the title this time around. One of the batsmen to watch out for in Pakistan’s team would be Mohammad Rizwan. He has been in prolific form this year in the T20 internationals. Rizwan has scored the most number of runs in T20 internationals across the globe and is currently the number one ranked T20I batter in the world.

Rizwan has been in outstanding form and the fans would expect him to score a plethora of runs in the competition. Recently, the Pakistan batter was involved in a hilarious exchange of words with an Indian fan. During a practice session on Tuesday, Rizwan was batting in the nets when an Indian fan asked him if he could bowl leg spin to him.

"Rizwan bhai mai daalu leg spin? (Should I bowl some leg spin for you)," says the fan in the video.

To that, Rizwan asked him to come to Peshawar and bowl there.

"Leg spin? Haa karade yaha phir. Peshawar aa jao, waha pe. (Yes sure. Come to Peshawar, bowl there)," the Pakistan batter said.

The fan later revealed that he is from India and that Rizwan is his favourite Pakistani cricketer.

Pakistan haven’t made a great start to their 20-20 World Cup 2022. England thrashed them by 6 wickets in their first warm-up match, while the second warm-up game against Afghanistan couldn’t get a result due to rain.

Nevertheless, the Men in Green would be looking to take the positives out of that and move forward. Their pace spearhead, Shaheen Afridi bowled in both matches and made great returns.

In the first game against England, Afridi conceded only 7 runs in 2 overs. Against Afghanistan, Shaheen returned with figures of 2 for 29 in 4 overs. Babar Azam and Co. will be kick-starting their 20-20 World Cup campaign against India on 23rd October 2022.
