The SA20 is ongoing and the teams are giving it their all to clinch the title in the inaugural edition of the tournament. On January 18, Wednesday, MI Cape Town faced off against Sunrisers Eastern Cape with the latter coming out on top chasing the target of 172 with 2 wickets to spare.
However, during the chase, in the final ball of the 13th over off Sam Curran, Marco Jansen smacked the ball towards deep mid-wicket and one of the fielders from the Cape Town camp crashed with journalist Zainab Abbas who was interviewing a coaching staff member. However, Zainab was quick enough to stand up on her feet, clarifying that it was all alright down there.

Sunrisers Eastern Cape stun MI Cape Town in Match 12 of SA20 as Marco Jansen shines with bat
MI Cape Town were forced to bat first and their skipper Rashid Khan claimed that they would have chased as well, during the toss. With Dewald Brevis failing to stand up for the team, making his way back to the dressing room after gathering only 6 runs, the likes of Ryan Rickelton and Grant Roelofsen brought the team back on its feet.
"I think we would have chased as well, looking at the history at this ground. But putting runs on the board will be key and that is what we have to do. It's exciting to have both KG and Archer play together. Ollie misses out, it'll be great to watch them play," Rashid was quoted as saying at the toss.
To add more, while Rickelton gathered 46 runs off 36 balls, Roelofsen, on the other hand, amassed 56 runs off as many balls and helped the MI camp put on a massive total on the board at the end of the first innings. However, the Sunrisers got off to a shaky start and it was Jansen who stood up for the team with his quickfire 66 off just 27 balls, eventually helping the team reach the target.
