Indian cricket superstar, Virat Kohli, took a break from his busy schedule to spend some quality time with his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, in the spiritual city of Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. The couple were spotted visiting the Swami Dayanand Ashram and were surrounded by fans seeking autographs. Kohli, known for his humble personality, politely requested fans not to take videos of him at the ashram.

In a video doing the rounds of the internet, Kohli could be seen saying to one fan, "Bhai aashram hai yaar ye (this is an aashram brother)" when fans surround him for autographs and pictures.

Kohli is currently not part of the Indian team for the ongoing T20I series against New Zealand and will next be seen in the highly-anticipated Border-Gavaskar Test series against Australia starting February 9th. The reasons for Kohli's absence from the T20I series are not officially stated, but reports suggest selectors wanted to give fringe players more opportunities in the format while resting Kohli.

Despite his absence from the T20I series, Kohli has been in top form in ODIs, scoring three centuries in the last two months, including one against Bangladesh and two against Sri Lanka. The Indian skipper will now be hoping to bring his ODI form to the Test series against Australia and end his century drought in the format. His last century in Test cricket came back in November 2019.

In conclusion, Virat Kohli's break from cricket allowed him to spend some much-needed time with his wife, Anushka Sharma, in the peaceful surroundings of Rishikesh, rejuvenating himself ahead of the challenging Test series against Australia.
