MS Dhoni is no doubt one of the finest captains in cricket history. Whether it was the 2007 T20 World Cup, the 2011 World Cup, or the 2013 Champions Trophy. Dhoni, as a captain, was instrumental in the team's success. As a result, he is not only a favourite player for many people worldwide but also commands a lot of respect. Despite retiring from international cricket in 2020, Dhoni rules his fans' hearts.

Notably, the flight air hostess greeted the Indian batter with chocolates. Meanwhile, Dhoni's chat with the flight hostess was replaced with a song, as the conversation was unclear.

Will MS Dhoni play in next year's Indian Premier League?

Meanwhile, following the conclusion of the 16th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Dhoni underwent knee surgery in Mumbai, which, according to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) CEO Kasi Viswanath, was a success, and the player is now fit and looking to return to cricket early next year.

After winning his fifth IPL title, Dhoni stated that he would try to make a comeback in the next edition but it all relies on his health and how his body feels around January when all franchises submit their list of retained players.

He said, "Circumstantially if you see, this is the best time to announce my retirement. But the amount of love and affection I have been shown wherever I have been this year, the easy thing would be for me to say “Thank you very much”, but the tough thing for me is to work hard for another nine months and come back and play at least 1 more season of IPL."

Speaking to ESPNcricinfo, Viswanathan mentioned, "We never asked him things like 'do you want to play or do you want to sit out?' If he can't, he would've told us straightaway. We knew it was a struggle for him to play, but his commitment to the team, his leadership, and how the team benefits everyone knows. From that perspective, you have to appreciate him."
