The Indian T20 League 2023 is just months away and every time the tournament gets closer, fans await an update from the Chennai franchise about India’s one of greatest captains of all time MS Dhoni. On January 19, Thursday, fans shared a video on the internet where the veteran was seen practising for the upcoming edition of the T20 extravaganza.
To add more to the video that is going viral on the internet, the former team India captain was seen using his feet, while defending a few of them as he smacked the rest in the air. It was a visual treat for the fans and with English allrounder Ben Stokes in the camp, one has to agree that it is going to be a cracker of a tournament for the Chennai franchise.

MS Dhoni to bid goodbye post-2023 edition?
With the home and away format making a return, Chennai will have a chance to play at the Chepauk stadium after a long time, meaning that it might be the last appearance of the veteran. Dhoni said earlier that he would retire only after playing his final game in Chennai and it might as well become true this year.
With the likes of Indian star Ajinkya Rahane and Stokes in the camp, chances are pretty high that he might retire, making way for either of the two to take over as the captain of the team. Chennai’s think tank enjoyed a good outing in the recently concluded mini-auction eventually managing to rope in the Three Lions superstar.
Much to the surprise of the fans, the Chennai management roped in Kyle Jamieson, the fiery Kiwi pacer and fans went over the moon claiming that they cannot wait for the tournament to begin already. Although fans cherished Dhoni’s video, a few of them were upset over the fact that it might be his last outing in the yellow jersey, although others said that he would still continue his stint as a mentor or a coach.
