India and Bangladesh have locked horns against each other in the second ODI at Dhaka Bangladesh are leading the series 1-0 after clinching a low-scoring thriller at the same venue against India courtesy of Mehidy Hasan Miraz who made a 38 off 39 with four fours and two sixes. This helped Bangladesh beat India in an ODI after 8 years.

In the second ODI, India are currently in a good position as they have kept Bangladesh under the mat. At the time of writing, they are 71-6 in 19.2 overs. Tensions were rising high as Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mohammed Siraj got into an altercation After completing his follow-through, it appeared as though He came up to Shanto and mouthed in a few choice words and then Shanto came down the wicket and he also had a few words to say.

Rohit Sharma suffered a blow to his thumb

In what will be a big blow to India, skipper Rohit Sharma has been sent to hospital for an X-Ray after he suffered a blow to his left thumb during the second over of the Bangladesh innings in the Second ODI. Rohit was fielding in the slips when he got injured. When he attempted to take the catch, he hurt his left thumb in the process. Rahul has donned the captain's hat in Rohitโ€™s absence.

India are touring Bangladesh for the first time since 2018, India have not been in the best of form in ODIs as they lost the ODI series to New Zealand 1-0 that happened in New Zealand just after the 20-20 World Cup. They also failed to put on a good show with the bat as they collapsed to just 186 in 41.2 overs. No one except KL Rahul got going as he scored 73 of 75 balls with five fours and four sixes.
