Australian Test specialist Marnus Labuschagne gave a hilarious moment for cricket fans when he was caught on camera dozing during Day 3 of the World Test Championship (WTC) Final on Friday. However, his power nap was interrupted when the Oval crowd started celebrating David Warner's wicket.
Earlier, Ajinkya Rahane and Shardul Thakur put on a century partnership to trouble the Australian bowlers, but they managed to end India's first innings quickly after lunch. After India was bowled out for 296, David Warner and Usman Khawaja opened the batting for the Aussies, with Labuschagne padded up in the dressing room, ready to walk out at number three.
He probably didn't expect to be walking out in the middle so fast, hence decided to take a quick power nap. But that didn't last long as Mohammad Siraj drew the Aussies' first blood, dismissing Warner for one run. Siraj was troubling Warner in the third over, and on the third delivery, the southpaw nicked an outswinger to wicketkeeper KS Bharat, who completed a sharp catch.
Take a look at the viral video of Marnus Labuschagne's sleep being interrupted:

Herculean task ahead for Team India
Australia came out to bat in their second innings with a healthy lead of 173. Steve Smith and Travis Head scored brilliant centuries in the first innings to give them a highly competitive total on English soil. The Aussie bowlers kept the momentum going and put pressure on the Indian batters from the start. While India's top order failed to find resistance, Ajinkya Rahane and Ravindra Jadeja took on the responsibility of scoring runs.
Before the start of Day 3, India was trailing by 318 runs for the loss of five wickets, but Rahane and Shardul Thakur did not let up and put on a century partnership to keep India's hopes alive in the Ultimate Test. Rahane missed out on a well-deserved century by just 11 runs, while Thakur completed a superb half-century to help India overcome the follow-on scare. Pat Cummins and co are well ahead in the game and India will want to pick up quick wickets to clinch the title.
