India are, currently, playing the first Test match against Bangladesh in Chattogram. KL Rahul is leading the side in the absence of Rohit Sharma, who did not play in the first Test match, due to a thumb injury. India are in pole position in the first Test, having set a 513-run target for Bangladesh.

Unlike their poor show in the first innings where Bangladesh folded up for just 150, courtesy a five-wicket haul for Kuldeep Yadav, they came out fighting in the second innings. Bangladesh battled for almost an hour in the last session on Day 3 and ended the day on 42-0. Then, on the first session on Day 4, the opening duo of Najmul Hossain Shanto and Zakir Hasan put on a 100-run partnership in the second innings.

But what caught the eyes of the fans was a heated exchange between Mohammed Siraj and Nazmul Hossian Shanto. The incident happened in the 33rd over of the second innings. Siraj gave a menacing stare to Shanto and then went towards the left-handed batter and exchanged a few words.

The war of words was not caught on the stump mic, but it appeared as though Shanto did not want to get into an altercation with Siraj.

India were on song right from the first innings as they scored 404 and then kept Bangladesh down to just 150 in their first innings. Then India smashed quick runs in the second innings before declaring at 258 for 2. Shubman Gill scored 110 off 152 balls with 10 fours and three sixes. Cheteshwar Pujara scored his fastest Test hundred off 130 balls, a knock which was laced with 13 fours.

Bangladesh gave India a big scare in the ODI series as they beat India 2-1. India will look to beat Bangladesh 2-0 and get some vital World Test Championship points under their belt.
