Manchester City gifted customised jerseys to former Indian captain Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma after the FA Cup Final. The legendary cricketer and Bollywood actress were in attendance on Saturday, June 3, at Wembley Stadium to watch Man City take on Manchester United in the final of the world's oldest football competition. The star couple were also seen supporting City, who won the title with a 3-2 win.

Kohli and Anushka were invited by City for the summit clash and the former, a Cristiano Ronaldo fan, was spotted in the stands with the club’s jersey in the stands. Notably, the two are brand ambassadors of Puma, who also manufacture the club's jersey.

Kohli is currently in London with the rest of Team India, preparing for the upcoming World Test Championship (WTC) Final against Australia starting from June 7 to 11 at The Oval. Apart from the 34-year-old, Indian players Subhman Gill and Suryakumar Yadav were also present at the stadium.

Kind of passion that you can get in football games is unparalleled: Anushka

In a video posted by Manchester City on their social media, the couple can be seen being presented with the club's customised jerseys. Both also shared their experience of attending the famous Manchester derby.

“It’s been amazing. The kind of passion that you can receive in football games is really unparalleled. I have been to the El Classico before, and like Virat says, I have bragging rights”, Anushka said.

“We got in five minutes late and Man City were 1-0 up. So, missed watching Man City score the goal. I went to a stadium once before, it was a pre-season game, totally unbelievable and incredible,” Kohli said.

Asked how different the atmosphere is between a cricket and a football match, the right-handed batter said that major cricket games draw the same crowds as soccer leagues. "What you get in probably every football game, we get it in the premier games and cricket, you know, like India vs Pakistan in World Cup is like that probably would be louder,” he said.

After taking a shot break from hard training sessions, Kohli is back in the Indian camp to prepare for their maiden WTC title. The Rohit Sharma-led India will face Pat Cummins' side in the final of the second edition of the Test Championship.
