We put in a very good performance: Edin Terzic

The 40-year-old German coach was happy about the performance of his team and lauded the boys for the same. Post-match, the coach admitted that the performance of the team was too good and highlighted on the scoring chances that they created.

"We put in a very good performance, especially in the first half. We knew TSG's strength in duels and we wanted to let them get into these duels too late by positioning ourselves very well and allowing the spaces to be wide for them," the coach said. Terzic further added, "We created a lot of scoring chances and were able to keep our opponents far away from our own goal."

The 40-year-old did not shy away from acknowledging the efforts of Hoffenheim and admitted that they were a tough opponent.

"That was really good. We lost too many balls in the second half. The way we were very serious in our goal defence towards the end and dealt with the situation professionally:"
