Delhi Capitals pacer Ishant Sharma provided a good start with the ball against Punjab Kings in the ongoing IPL 2023 game After DC decided to bowl first, the right-arm pacer took the wickets of opposition skipper Shikhar Dhawan and Liam Livingstone. Sharma took the wicket of Dhawan in the second over. Two overs later, Livingstone tried to hit the ball out of the park.

However, the England international could only connect the thin air and lost his stumps. In reply, the Indian player bid a goodbye kiss to his opposition player. The incident happened in the fifth over. The video has been going viral on the internet.

Talking about the game, the 2014 finalists lost three wickets for 45 runs. At this stage, the likes of Sam Curran and Prabhsimran Singh put together 72 runs with the latter doing the most of the scoring. In the end, the latter scored his maiden hundred and helped the team reach 167/7. In reply, the home team started well after scoring 63/0 in the powerplay. However, since then, they have lost six wickets and are on the verge of losing the game.
