Shaheen Afridi is one of the lead pacers from the Pakistan team and the pacer has been out of action since the summit clash of the 20-20 World Cup 2022 that the Men in Green lost against England. Afridi walked off the field after bowling only 13 balls in his spell and since then, the pacer has been working hard on his fitness.

Eventually, on the back of the same, Afridi was ruled out of the three-match Test series against England, which kicked off on December 1. Notably, Pakistan went on to lose the match and Haris Rauf, the speedster, was ruled out post the conclusion of the match.

In a video that is surfacing on the internet now, Afridi can be seen making fun of himself and Rauf. It remains to be seen if either of them could make a comeback at the earliest and continue their momentum from the recently concluded multinational tournament. “Hum unfit nahi huway hamay nazar lag gaye hai,” Afridi can be seen saying in the video. Fans, who went crazy over the same, started to share the video on their social media accounts and hoped for the return of the duo.

To make a comeback, Pakistan will have to play bowlers: Aaqib Javed

Aaqib Javed, the former Pakistan cricketer, opened up on Rauf’s injury and said that the pacer must not have been selected for the Test series, given that he is not ready yet for the big stage. Further, Javed claimed that it was important for the Babar Azam-led team to find a way to address the injury concern.

“To make a comeback, Pakistan will have to play bowlers. Once they get a hold of a bowler, be in T20Is, ODIs or Tests - uska bedha gark karke saans lete hain (they don't rest unless it is ruined). Haris should not be playing Tests because he is not that trained. Play bowlers who can play Test matches, who play First-Class cricket and pick wickets regularly,” Javed was quoted as saying.
