Cristiano Ronaldo, the veteran star, is going through one of the toughest phases in his career. After all the fuss about him leaving the Manchester United club, Ronaldo finally settled in and is now awaiting an opportunity. However, Erik ten Hag, the chief of the Red Devils, had other plans against Tottenham Hotspur on October 20, Thursday as he did not use his services till the end of the game. Frustrated on the same, Ronaldo was seen going into the tunnel minutes prior to the final whistle.
With regards to Man United, they won the match with a scoreline of 2-0 and the crowd, who witnessed their hero warming up for the game, erupted once he stretched his legs on the sides. With the boss preferring Marcus Rashford, Ronaldo left for the tunnel and the cheers faded as he walked by.
Fabrizio Romano, the football expert, reportedly quoted ten Hag as saying, “I will deal with that tomorrow, not today. We are now celebrating this victory”. As it stands, it remains to see if Ronaldo would come up with an explanation for the same.

The Red Devils menace
Manchester United have been fantastic this year and they have defeated Liverpool and Arsenal already in the top-flight English tournament. Fred, the Brazilian midfielder produced the first hope for ten Hag and his boys with a stunning goal in the 47th minute against the Spurs.
Backing him, Bruno Fernandes, the national teammate of Ronaldo, scored the second goal for the Red Devils in the 69th minute and secured the game for the team. It was all about the red team yesterday as they made it to fifth place in the rankings with 6 wins out of the ten that they have played so far.
Ronaldo, on the other hand, would hope to get a go-ahead in the next game and fans would hope that everything would be sorted within the team. As it stands, Man United will take on Chelsea next on October 22 and it will be yet another game to watch out for as the latter rank just above ten Hag’s men in the points table.
