An insane scene at a wrestling event involving former WWE Superstar Duke "The Dumpster" Droese is making the rounds on social media. The 54-year-old's surprise appearance in Major League Wrestling's Battle Riot 4 event was a nightmare for him.

Droese, who last competed for Vince McMahon way back in 2001, entered the arena carrying a trashcan and wreaked havoc inside the squared circle during a four-man fight. The veteran brutally smashed Alex Kane's 0teammate, prompting the latter to put him down, and the rest of the incident was strange. Kane almost pulled out Droese's prosthetic leg and left him struggling in the ring with severe pain.

Droese participated in the Gimmick Battle Royale at WrestleMania 17, which was won by The Iron Sheik. The former American professional has since made a handful of wrestling appearances.

What happened to Droese's leg?

Trained as a professional wrestler by Bobby Wales, Droese had a severe drug addiction. It caused him to suffer from a staphylococcal infection in his left foot, which he eventually had to amputate.

Droese, who is also a special education teacher, previously said he is passionate about helping others recover from drug addiction.

“I am passionate about helping others in recovery because I know how dark it is during active addiction. I know it’s a very lonely and hard place to come back from. When I see people struggling as they are just starting to get clean, I understand how painful and mentally taxing it is. I really try to help people get past those things and move forward successfully.”

Considering his recent appearances in Major League Wrestling (MLW), the WWE veteran seems to be doing well. Duke "The Dumpster" Droese is most remembered for his World Wrestling Federation appearances between 1994 and 1996.

In 1997, Droese wrestled under the ring name Marshall Duke for the German-based Catch Wrestling Association. He had a big fan base during his prime, and those die-hard supporters would love to see him make more unexpected cameos.
