Tendulkar remains a major record holder across formats and has a legacy in the game of cricket which is very difficult to emulate. He remains the highest all-time run scorer in Tests and ODIs and is also the only batter to score 100 international hundreds. He remains the only player to have played 200 Test matches.
463 ODI matches is also a record. In his 24-year international career, Tendulkar has scored an astonishing 15,291 Test runs at an average of 53.78 and 18,426 ODI runs at an average of 44.83. He scored 51 Test Hundreds, making him the only batter with over 50 centuries in the longest format of the game, and 49 ODI tons in the 50 over format.
