India defeated Pakistan in a nail-biter, thanks to brilliant knocks from Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya on Sunday. While Kohli smashed 82 off 52 balls, the all-rounder scored 40 runs in a flash. After dropping a couple of catches earlier, it all came down to 1 off the last ball, which Ravichandran Ashwin redeemed himself with. Meanwhile, the Indian dugout erupted when Ashwin hit the game-winning shot.
Rahul Dravid, the usually silent head coach, went wild and was seen giving high fives to his 'boys.' Furthermore, Rohit Sharma couldn't hold back his excitement after India's victory. It is, without a doubt, going viral.

Kohli had just completed his half-century when he hit their most impactful bowler Haris Rauf for two stunning sixes, one a lofted backfoot drive over long-on and the other a flick over square leg. With Kohli in his element and Hardik Pandya looking to explode, the game came down to 16 from the last over.
Mohammad Rizwan cleverly stumped the designated finisher Karthik, who needed two out of two. Kohli was on 82 when Ashwin took over with two balls to go. As Nawaz darted one down the leg side for a wide, the experienced off-spinner looked composed and moved away.
With the scores levelled, as many as seven players converged on Ashwin. But, instead of a Super Over, he calmly cleared the infield for a single, sparking wild celebrations in the winning camp and among Indian fans.
Kohli admitted after the game that the Mohali knock was one of his favourites until yesterday. "Till today Mohali was my best innings against Australia. Today I will count this one higher. Hardik kept pushing me. The crowd has been phenomenal. You guys (fans) kept backing me and I am grateful for your support," he said.
In his post-match press conference, Rohit heaped praise on the former Indian captain. He even went on to call Virat Kohli's knock against Pakistan the best in India's T20I history.
“Yeah, I think it has to go — definitely his best for sure, but I think from the situation we were in, and to come out with a victory, I think it has to be one of India’s best knocks, not just his best knock,” Rohit said.
