David Warner is back in Hyderabad and the fans cannot get enough of their favourite star. The Australian opener is a hugely popular figure in Hyderabad and enjoys a cult-like following. It was under the captaincy of David Warner that Hyderabad won the IPL Title in 2016.

Australia took on Pakistan in the second warm-up match on Tuesday in Hyderabad. It was the final preparation for both teams ahead of the 2023 ODI World Cup. Pakistan lost their last game to New Zealand last Friday after scoring 345 on the board.

The five-time ODI World Champions meanwhile saw their game against the Netherlands get called off due to rain. The eyes of the fans were on one man and needless to say David Warner did not let down his fans in Hyderabad.

Allu Arjun and David Warner are two of the most popular figures in Hyderabad. The Telegu star has often complimented the Australian's ode to various Telegu movies. One such movie is the blockbuster Pushpa which is an Allu Arjun film.

David Warner did the famous Allu Arjun pose when he took the catch to dismiss Abdullah Shafique. This was followed by the Australian opener doing the famous signature step of the movie. The crowd which had come to see their former skipper lapped it up and went crazy.

Australia posted a 14-run win over Pakistan on Tuesday to kick off their preparation for the 2023 ODI World Cup. David Warner scored 48 from just 33 balls with four boundaries and 3 sixes. Each and every Australian batter got a good start with the bat as they posted a mammoth score of 351. Cameron Green was the top scorer with 50 while Haris Rauf gave away 97 runs from his 9 overs. Shaheen Afridi and Hasan Ali bowled six overs each and were very economical against the rampant Australians.

Chasing 352 to win, Pakistan were all out for 337 and went down after a valiant fight. Babar Azam retired out himself after scoring 90 runs. The Pakistani skipper got his runs in just 59 balls with 11 fours and 2 sixes. Iftikhar Ahmed (83) and Mohammad Nawaz (50) were the other contributors with the bat. Labuschagne was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets while Mitchell Marsh and Pat Cummins picked two wickets.
