Cristiano Ronaldo opened a can of worms when he unearthed a lot of allegations about his treatment by Eric ten Hag, his grouse on the Manchester United management because they did not want to have him back at United. He spoke about all of this and more in a no holds barred interview with Piers Morgan.

Now, the events have taken a turn for the worse when the first part of the interview was broadcasted yesterday. A big poster of Ronaldo, which was hung up in the Theatre of Dreams, was taken down. The video of the incident has been widely shared on social media.

Reports are saying that the poster was anyway going to be removed this week due to the venue being remodelled for the Rugby World Cup final, which is slated to be held on Saturday. Both the Men’s and Women’s events will take place on Saturday. It has come at a time when the Portuguese striker is at an all-time low with United, and this incident has given rise to transfer rumours in the case of Ronaldo.

Ronaldo, a few days back, refused to step into the field as a substitute in a game which featured Tottenham Hotspur. He walked into the tunnel right after the match finished. He was slapped with a fine of One Million Pounds for his explosive interview. Just before he decided to tell the world his tale of woe, he was levied a fine of 14 days' wages.

Here is what Ronaldo had to say about his second stint at United in the interview with Morgan. “Manchester United tried to force me out,” he said. “Not only the manager but the other two or three guys who are around the club . I felt betrayed. I don’t care, people should listen to the truth. Yes, I felt betrayed. I feel that some people didn’t want me here, not only this year but last season too," he said.
