India all-rounder Axar Patel and his wife visited Baba Mahakal's Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh ahead of the third Test against Australia.

India all-rounder Axar Patel and his wife, Meha Patel visited Mahakal Temple in the Ujjain district in Madhya Pradesh. The couple tied the knot after dating each other for the last few years. After exactly a month into their marriage, the duo visited the temple in the central part of India. After all, Axar is part of the team that will play the third Test against Australia in Indore.

Meanwhile, during the India all-rounder's visit, they performed ‘Bhasma Aarti’. In simple words, it is a famous ritual of offering Ashes in Ujjain. It is performed during the Brahma Muhurta between 4 and 5:30 in the morning. After this, they reached the sanctum sanctorum of the temple and performed Jalabhishek. After performing the puja, he also interacted with the media persons.

"It was great to participate in Bhasm Aarti. I had come 5 years back as well but could not participate in Bhasm Aarti but now after marriage we have come here," Axar Patel said after the visit.

Axar Patel will be in action against Australia in Indore

Meanwhile, the left-hander will be in action in the upcoming third Test against Australia. In the first two games, he has scored as many half-centuries. In both games, his fifties came in difficult situations. In the first game, India was reduced to 168/5 after bowling out the Aussies for 177 runs. Axar's innings of 80 runs helped the team reach 400 all-out.

In the second game, the home team was reduced to 139/7, in reply to Australia's 263. His innings helped the team reach 262 runs. Patel would look to carry his batting form and bowl well too. Talking about the series, the Rohit Sharma-led side would look to seal the series and a place in Test Championship final.
