India capped off their Super 12 stage at the 20-20 World Cup 2022 on a high when they beat Zimbabwe by 71 runs at the Melbourne Cricket Ground after piling up 186-5 in their 20 overs. They were also on target with the ball as they bundled out the Chevrons for only 115 in 17.2 overs.
The wrecker-in-chief with the ball for India was Ravichandran Ashwin as he picked up 3-22 in his four overs accounting for the wickets of Ryan Burl, Wellington Masakadza, and Richard Ngarava. He was the big positive for India heading into the semi-final.
But Ashwin’s antics at the toss widely entertained one and all, This happened at the toss ahead of the India-Zimbabwe clash where when Rohit Sharma was doing the toss with Ian Bishop the legendary West Indian fast bowler, Ashwin was seen having a sniff at his jacket in the background.
The internet burst into laughter when they saw this comical event unfold, this left everyone in splits including the Turbanator Harbhajan Singh who mentioned Ashwin on Twitter "Ash what are u smelling @ashwinravi99," he wrote on the microblogging site.

India and England will draw swords at Adelaide on Thursday
Ashwin has not fired in the 20-20 World Cup so far for the Men in Blue, barring the game against Zimbabwe, and will want to write his detractors off and put on a good performance for India in the crucial semi-final clash against England that will be held in Adelaide.
Rohit Sharma also talked about the do-or-die encounter, speaking ahead of the game, He said that India needs to adapt to the conditions quickly even though they have played in Adelaide before. He said that England will be a good challenge for India and that he was expecting a fiery contest between the two sides.
India and England are facing each other in a semi-final only for the second time since 1983 where Kapil Dev’s devils beat England to make the final against the mighty West Indies where they went on to win the 1983 World Cup.
