As the prestigious ODI World Cup 2023 approaches, the Apex Cricket Council has launched the official anthem of the tournament. The three-minute-long anthem features various Bollywood and social media artists, starting with 'Dil Jashn Jashn Bole.' The song in the video was written by the renowned Bollywood singer Pritam.

Here is the World Cup anthem:

Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh, and social media sensations like Scout, Mr. Beast, Be Younick, and others are also part of the anthem. It is worth noting that the wife of Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and dancer Dhanashree Verma is also a part of the music video. The Apex Cricket Council launched the video at 12 p.m. IST on their YouTube channel.

However, the anthem has received a mixed reaction from fans. Many are calling it worse than previous years, while others are appreciating it. Meanwhile, the official jersey partner of the Indian Cricket Team Adidas also released an anthem for Men in Blue. The anthem has an ambitious theme of 'Teen Ka Dream'. Star India players like Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, and Rohit Sharma are featured in the video.

India is set to host the ODI World Cup for the first time

After hosting the ODI World Cup twice in collaboration with other neighboring countries, India is set to host the marquee event for the first time on its own. The tournament will kick off on October 5, with defending champions England taking on New Zealand at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, India will start their campaign against five-time champion Australia at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on October 8.

The marquee clash between India and Pakistan will also be played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 14. This will be the third India vs. Pakistan game in the last month, as both teams faced each other in the prestigious Asia Cup 2023. India beat Pakistan in one match by a massive 228-run margin, while another match ended without any result.
