The Indian Super League (ISL) has been brilliant with high-octane football happening in every match and the fans of India have been entertained by the best names across the world. The games have also been coming thick and fast. The last game was a Southern Derby which was played between Kerala Blasters FC and Bengaluru FC.
The game was played on December 11, and it was an enthralling encounter between both teams. The marches that have taken place between Kerala and Bangalore have been closely fought and are one of the most sought-after encounters for Indian football fans. Both franchises have a wonderful fan following and back their team to the hilt at all times.
Kerala were too good for Bengaluru when the two teams faced off at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi. Bengaluru drew first blood in the 13th minute because of a goal from Sunil Chetri. Kerala equalised in the 24th minute through Marko Leskovic. Then Kerala scored two goals in quick succession in the 42nd minute and the 69th minute respectively.

The goals were scored by Dimitrios Diamantakos and Apostolos Giannou respectively. Bengaluru were given a glimmer of hope when Xavi Hermendes scored in the 80th minute. After the win, the Manjapadda army, and the die-hard group of Kerala blasters fans were roaring and celebrating a great win on home turf.

Fans thronged in huge numbers to see their team play. There have been instances where 90,000 fans have flocked to the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium to see their team play. The Kerala people love their football and they have a passionate fan base. There were roars and chants for the home side after their well-deserved victory against Bengaluru.
Kerala have had a great season so far as they have registered six wins with 18 points and are in fourth place in the points table. It has not been rosy for Bengaluru on the other hand as they are languishing at 9th position on the bottom half of the points table.
