India and Bangladesh are playing the second Test at Dhaka. On a pitch that was not easy to bat on, Bangladesh scored 227 in the first innings. India replied with 314 and had a lead of 87 runs. Then Bangladesh made 231 in the second innings with a lead of 144. Thus giving India a target of 145 to win the Test match.
Rishabh Pant put himself in the limelight again by producing yet another moment of brilliance behind the stumps. He showed great anticipation and presence of mind to dismiss Nurul Hasan in the second Test against Bangladesh. Nurul played a quick cameo of 31 off 28 balls before he was foxed by Axar Patel.
It was a ball that was slightly pitched up from Axar Patel. But Nurul was beaten by the flight, the ball moved away from the right-hander and Pant made a razor-sharp stumping to dislodge the bails. After the stumping, Virat Kohli was ecstatic and yelled "come on!" and let out a big roar of triumph. Nurul was the seventh wicket to fall for Bangladesh as India kept chipping at Bangladesh and then got them all out.

Pant has not been able to crack the code in the ODIs and T20s and has been in very dwindling form. But when it comes to Test cricket, he is proving to be a different beast altogether. He played a superb innings of 93 and forged a wonderful partnership with Shreyas Iyer, who scored a valuable 87 to get India back into the game when they were struggling at 72/3 in the first innings.
India are leading in the Test series after they got a 188-run win at Chattogram. They are 45/4 at the end of Day 3 and need another 100 runs to win the second Test match at Dhaka. If India loses this Test match, then they will also lose vital points in the World Test Championship, which can hamper their chances to make it into the World Test Championship final.
