Virat Kohli suffers injury while batting in the nets while facing Harshal Patel

Virat Kohli has been in wonderful form since the Asia Cup 2022 where he had scored 276 from five innings with a century against his name versus Afghanistan where he scored 122 of 61 balls which turned out to be his maiden T20 century. Kohli was in superb form throughout the continental tournament.

He has now continued his rich vein of run-scoring in the 20-20 World Cup 2022 as well where he has scored 246 runs in five innings at a stunning average of 123 with three half-centuries and at an outstanding strike rate of 138.98. He has been one of the pillars in the middle order for India in this 20-20 World Cup.

Ahead of the semi-final against England, Kohli suffered an injury scare while batting in the nets when a ball from Harshal Patel hit Virat Kohli. If the injury is a big concern, then it will be a huge blow for India heading into the semi-finals.

Kohli endured a tough time for three years with the bat as he was not scoring runs as consistently as he used to and also a century abated Kohli for a long time.
