Ever since its release, the Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa’ has grown in popularity because of its iconic dialogues, super-hit songs, dance steps, and stylish actions. The Pushpa fever has also hit the cricketing fraternity with players like Ravindra Jadeja, Krunal Pandya, and David Warner dancing to the hit songs from the movie and reciting its famous dialogue with the same gesture.

Now, the star Indian batsman Virat Kohli has jumped onto the bandwagon and imitated the iconic gesture of the movie during a practice session ahead of the rescheduled fifth Test. In the viral video, Kohli can be seen impersonating the famous move, leaving Shubman Gill in splits.

WATCH the video here:

Virat Kohli will be seen in action during the fifth Test against England at Edgbaston, Birmingham, starting 1st July. The star batter will be eager to score some runs as he’s not looked like the player he was for the past 2 years. The entire cricketing fraternity is waiting for Virat’s 71st international century since November 2019 when he scored his last international hundred against Bangladesh.

The fans are also impatiently waiting for the battle between Kohli and the star England pacer James Anderson to get underway probably for the one ‘last time’. The 39-year-old fast bowler has dismissed the former Indian captain 7 times in Test Cricket, averaging 42.4 against him. After not getting Kohli’s wicket since 2014, Anderson finally managed to dismiss him for a ‘golden-duck’ during the first Test of the ongoing series at Nottingham. The dismissal had nicely set up the rest of the series for a ‘mouth-watering’ battle between the two greats of the game. Anderson has dismissed Kohli 2 times in the series so far and will be looking to get his scalp for one final time.

Meanwhile, pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah will be leading the Indian side in regular skipper Rohit Sharma’s absence. Rohit has been ruled out after testing COVID-19 positive last week. The team management zeroed in on Bumrah at the very last moment due to the unavailability of vice-captain KL Rahul who did not make it due to a groin injury for which he underwent surgery in Germany recently.
