Indian cricket fans have been praising Virat Kohli ever since he played a magnificent knock of 82 runs in 53 balls against Pakistan in the ongoing 20-20 World Cup 2022. Many cricket experts have labelled that knock as Kohli’s best-ever in his cricketing career. 

With India losing 4 wickets for just 31 runs in pursuit of a 160-run target against Pakistan, Virat Kohli stepped up to the occasion and guided the team to a 4-wicket win over the arch-rivals. Had he got out early, India would have surely lost the game and their hopes of reaching the semi-finals could have gone in vain as well. 

But the former Indian skipper held firm at one end and build a big partnership with Hardik Pandya. Kohli waited for the right time to explode and kept believing in himself despite the asking rate mounting up all the time. 

With 28 needed off the final 8 deliveries to win the match, India needed two boundaries in the last two deliveries of the penultimate over. Virat Kohli then hit two sixes off two balls to Haris Rauf to bring the equation down to 16 needed off the final over and, eventually, chased down the target on the final ball of the match. 

Virat Kohli’s knock will surely be remembered for a long time. It should go in history as one of the greatest knocks ever played in the history of T20 internationals. Not only the cricket experts but also a lot of Bollywood stars took their social media handles and praised the knock of Virat Kohli. 

Bollywood actor, Varun Dhawan, who is a big fan of Virat Kohli, also praised the Indian cricketer for his great form at the 20-20 World Cup 2022. Recently, while interacting with the paparazzi in Mumbai, Varun Dhawan said that Kohli is playing brilliantly in the World Cup and expressed confidence that India will reach the finals. 

When the paparazzi asked Varun to say something about Kohli, the Bhediya actor said, “Kya bole baba unke baare mein.” Interestingly, when the media person said he is hitting sixer, Varun replied, “Bhai phaad rahe hai. (He is killing it).”
