Venkatesh Prasad takes a sly dig at Virat Kohli, posts cryptic Tweet

Twitter is abuzz with comments and opinions with regards to Virat Kohli's form and everyone wants to say something about it. Some people have given their two cents about it on Twitter and also on other social media platforms.

This is quite a burning question that has hit Indian cricket and has gone on to make top headlines. Among all the critics, one of the persons who had their say on the issue is former Karnataka fast bowler, Venkatesh Prasad who is not one to shy away from putting out his opinions on Twitter or through any other social media.

Venkatesh Prasad said on Twitter, " There was a time when you were out of form, you would be dropped irrespective of reputation. Sourav, Sehwag, Yuvraj, Zaheer, Bhajji all have been dropped when not in form. They have gone back to domestic cricket, scored runs and staged a comeback. The yardsticks seem to have 1/2"

"Changed drastically now, where there is rest for being out of form. This is no way for progress. There is so much talent in the country and cannot play on reputation. One of India’s greatest match-winner, Anil Kumble sat out on so many ocassions, need action’s for the larger good."

Prasad went on to say that different people should not be judged on different parameters and that the parameters should be the same for all the players.

This is also in reference to Virat Kohli's poor run of form where the former Indian skipper and batting maverick has failed to get going in the T20I series against England. A run of poor form for Kohli has led to experts from all over the world saying that he should be dropped and he can comeback to domestic cricket , score a mountain of runs and play for India again.
