Cricket is known to be a major hit among politicians and celebrities alike. The sport has captivated people across the political spectrum. The political bigwigs have been watching cricket at stadiums for a very long time with the most famous instance being the 2011 World Cup semi- final between India and Pakistan.
The latest entrant to the cricket craze was UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who was seen playing cricket. The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister took up a stance as a right-handed batter. In the video, he can be seen missing a delivery as the bowler beat the bat on one occasion and another time, he played a flick shot to the on side. He played the shot at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow to inaugurate the tournament on Monday.

The cricketers will be split into four groups
The second edition of the Sardar Patel National Divyang T20 Cup will be a great tournament to show the talent for Divyang cricketers. There will be 20 Divyang cricketers from all over the country. The cricketers will be split into four groups. They will fight for the trophy in a long tournament which will comprise 43 matches.
The winners will be announced on November 7 and the closing ceremony will take place at Lucknow. A handsome sum of nearly 30 lakh rupees will be given to the shining stars in the tournament. Another noteworthy thing that will take place in the tournament is that match fees will be provided to the players and there will be a reimbursement of travel expenses. On the occasion of Sardar Vallabhai Patel’s anniversary on Monday, the ‘Race for Unity’ was inaugurated by Adityanath.
Rashtriya Ekta Diwas is being celebrated right around the country. This is done because of the 147th anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel. Since 2014, ‘National Unity Day has been observed on October 31st which signifies the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel, who is also known as the ‘Iron Man of India’
