Indian cricket has a very rich history which the people and fans have cherished for several years. There have been many legendary players, who have cemented their names in the history of Indian cricket even after their retirement. One of those players are Mahendra Singh Dhoni.The former India skipper has been part of some of the iconic moments in Indian cricket whether its winning trophies or as a finishing player. The powerful wicket keeper and batter from Jharkhand has not only etched his name as one of the best keepers and finishers, but as one of the greatest leaders as well.

The Indian Cricket Board has decided to retire the iconic number 7 jersey as tribute to the master. This means that no other player in future can wear this or use this number. It's no surprise since no one can see anybody replacing Dhoni and living up to the standards that he had created in his long international career of 15 years.
