Roman Reigns, the undisputed WWE Universal Champion who is also known as the Tribal Chief, is ecstatic after finishing an illustrious title run. The Tribal Chief will commemorate the amazing achievement in the upcoming episode of Friday Night SmackDown after having served as the Universal Champion for 1000 days as of May 27. Reigns posted a message to his supporters on Twitter before SmackDown. He published "Tough times made me the Tribal Chief I am today. The Greatest of All Time. ☝🏽000 days as the undisputed best in the world! #AcknowledgeMe #SmackDown."

In a triple threat match at the Payback Premium Live Event in August 2020, Reigns defeated Braun Strowman and "The Fiend" of Bray Wyatt to win the title of Universal Champion. The Tribal Chief has since defeated challenges from Brock Lesnar, Sami Zayn, Cody Rhodes, and several other top-tier wrestlers throughout his legendary 1000-day reign.

Roman Reigns teamed up with Solo Sikoa to win the Undisputed Tag Team title

Reigns has faced more difficulties and made several enemies thanks to his run of invincibility. Reigns and Solo Sikoa recently competed for the Undisputed Tag Team championship against reigning champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Owens-Zayn triumphed over Reigns-Sikoa at Night of Champions 2023. The supporters were more horrified by Jimmy Uso's attack on Reigns than by the loss, though. Jimmy exposed the long-brewing divide inside The Bloodline by super-kicking the Tribal Chief twice.

Paul Heyman, the manager of Roman Reigns, appeared to have told fans that the events at Night of Champions 2023 would be discussed on a future episode of SmackDown. “Your Tribal Chief, Solo, and I are jetting back home from #WWENOC. We will talk about this in detail Friday on #SmackDown," Heyman tweeted. WWE fans are eagerly awaiting news of Reigns' intentions for The Bloodline's future as the group is on the verge of disintegrating following Jimmy's most recent betrayal.

Roman Reigns no longer needed to tote both the WWE and the Universal championship around after WWE established the new world heavyweight championship exclusive to the Monday Night Raw brand. Then, rumours spread that the business will create a new title as a gift for the man who has been carrying the torch for more than 1,000 days. This week, Triple H attended Friday Night SmackDown to reveal the completely new title artwork.
