Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is reportedly not available for transfer this summer. European giants Bayern Munich have shown interest in the England captain, but according to ESPN, Tottenham has said Kane is not available for a transfer.

Munich have reportedly made a €70 million ($76.6 million) bid for Kane in a move to beat Manchester United's aim to land the Englishman's services. However, sources close to the developments said a move to Old Trafford is unlikely unless Kane actively pushes for a transfer this summer. The Spurs' forward has one year remaining on his contract and will be a free agent at the end of next season if he does not sign a new deal.

Kane has spent his entire career with Tottenham and has scored 280 goals in 435 appearances for the English club. Considered one of the greatest strikers of all time in English football, Kane was in sensational form this past season, netting 32 goals in 49 appearances.

He is currently only 47 goals behind legendary footballer Alan Shearer in Premier League scoring history. The 29-year-old had openly admitted that he is aiming for a new record, so it remains to be seen whether he will be ready to switch leagues. On the other hand, Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel is keen to get Kane on board as he searches for a new centre-forward this summer.

The goal right now as a player is to win team trophies: Kane

Despite spending numerous years with Tottenham, Kane has yet to win a title with the club. The closest he came to winning a trophy was in 2019 when Spurs reached the UEFA Champions League final but were defeated by Liverpool 2-0. Given this, many of Kane's fans and experts want him to join a new club. Tuchel's Munich recently won the Bundesliga title, and they are yet to replace Robert Lewandowski, who joined Barcelona last summer.

Kane revealed in 2021, before treble winners Manchester City pursued his signing that summer, that he wanted to win team trophies during his career. "When I look back at the end of my career, these are all the things I'll go over and take in a little bit more, but the goal right now as a player is to win team trophies," he said.
