Chief selector of senior Indian cricket team Chetan Sharma was caught in an alleged sting operation. The former India bowler made some startling revelations during a sting operation and has triggered an unwanted situation among the cricket fertility. The fans who are the most important part of this game has left in shock after this revelation. One of the most shocking points that came out of this sting operation was the alleged ‘use of injection’ by players to prove fitness.

In the sting operation which is done by Zee News Chetan Sharma could be heard saying that players take an injection to prove match fitness while they are only 80% fit. Although, these injections don’t carry a painkiller and they can’t be detected in a dope test. Sharma also asserted that Indian players take their physicians along with Team’s medical staff on tour and these doctors help them in taking injections.

"Indian Cricket Team players take injection & get 100% fit even if they're 80-85%% fit. These are not painkillers. These injections contain Drug which isn't caught in Dope Test," the former India pacer admitted on sting camera. Sharma also claimed that there was a difference of opinion between him and team management over the injury of star pacer Jasprit Bumrah.

Sharma claimed that Bumrah hid his injury while making comeback in the team last year against Australia. He said, “Jasprit Bumrah was unable to bend as he had a major injury other than that there are one or two players who take injections in private and they are fit to play.”

‘Virat Kohli tried to defame Sourav Ganguly’, said Chetan Sharma

Referring to the rift between former India Captain Virat Kohli and Ex-chairman of the cricket board Sourav Ganguly, Chief selector Chetan Sharma made a shocking comment. According to Sharma Kohli tried to defame Ganguly as he thought Ganguly was trying to remove him as captain.

“When a cricketer becomes big, he feels that he can do anything and conquer anyone. So, he (Kohli) went after the President (Ganguly). Sourav Ganguly never said a word about the issue to me, but Kohli wanted to go after him. This is a dispute of ego. He said he is bigger, and Kohli said he is bigger,” said Sharma.

However, after this alleged sting operation Indian cricket fans are questioning the timing and specific content of the sting. Fans also started demanding the Indian cricket board sack to Chetan Sharma.
